It will focus on promoting environmental excellence and as such, supports the well known adage: "Think Globally, Act Locally." Promoting the integration of industry ideas and innovation, Durham Eco-House will be developed as a networked collaborative of government, industry and community. It will serve to demonstrate the inherent economic benefits that accrue from environmental investments as it will align suppliers of leading edge conservation technologies with consumers who want to make a difference.
